MBA Student - Emily Guido

I have this last assignment to do for Leadership class.  This was the first class in my MBA program.  I learned a lot.

In my preclass posting, I stated:  "I think of myself as a leader, but I have never had a real supervisory role. I mean, I supervise Student Workers and my Husband and my cats, but that is about it."

In my post-class reflection, I feel that I have come out of the class about the same.  Nevertheless, I recognize now that leadership has a lot of different definitions than it did before the class.

I will be able to use what I have learned at my current job, and in my future jobs.  I realize that I have a lot of work to do with chaotic situations.  I found that need a lot of work in handling crisis professional situations.

On the other hand, I am outspoken and very good at brainstorming!  I realized this while we were working on our team projects.

All in all this post-class reflection has a positive spin and the skills that we learned in this class will help me!
